In this project, the monitoring measurement data of noise and ground-borne vibrations have been carried out at a number of locations alongside the Taiwan High Speed Rail Transportation (HSRT) and other track transportation system. Totally, 15 noise-sensitive sites, 80 noise complaint sites, 38 ground-borne vibration-sensitive sites and 4 groundborne vibration complaint sites are selected to measure and then to analyze to attain the noise level of LAmax(mean)f, LAeq,P, LAeq(1h)etc.; and the vibration levels based on JIS Shinkanse, JIS C1510, ISO Unweight, ISO 2631-1(1997and ISO 2631-2(2003) respectively. From this database, the protocol of the countermeasures and specifications of noise and vibration (NV) abatement can be made. Also, the database of NV alonyside HSRT is updated for the reference on website. Meanwhile, the legislative works for modifying the relevant Noise Control Standard and the performance control of the group project regarding NV of EPA have been executed.
